What do “Team” and “General” mean?

Team identifies a photograph centered on a documented school team or season, including formal team portraits and team-focused championship photographs.

General is the broad archive category for an image that does not fit a more specific category such as Championship, Team, Athlete and coach, Campus and facility, or Historical.

These are archive-photo categories—not athletic classifications—and they do not change championship totals.

Consolidation & identity history

1968

Southern Mississippi County district formation

The Dyess, Keiser, Shawnee, and Wilson school districts merged in 1968 to form the district now known as Rivercrest.

Identity note: Shawnee and Wilson championships remain credited to their original schools. Rivercrest does not inherit those predecessor title totals.
